Start of Ethical Management and History

The Orion Group announced our Ethical Management System as our key management measure in 2015. Since then, we have adopted management practices based on compliance and ethics to seek sustainable growth and fulfill our corporate social responsibility across the group.

2015

  • Declared the adoption of ethical management
  • Introduced ethical management systems
  • Implemented ethical management training by job level

2016

  • Ethical management system
  • Introduction/Expansion of ethical management in overseas affiliates & subsidiaries
  • Establishment of an organization dedicated to joint growth with partner companies

2017

  • Selected/Managed Ethical Practice Leaders for each corporation
  • Developed social contribution activities by affiliated company

2018

  • Established a global ethical management system (evaluation/monitoring/systems, etc)
  • Achieved 'Excellent' rating in the joint growth index
  • Conducted a workshop for group executives on ethical management

2019

  • Established group ethical standards and practice guidelines
  • Awarded 'Best' company prize in fair-trade agreement compliance evaluation

2020

  • Reinforced/Strengthen(Global) Environmental Management
  • Introduced Ethical Management for New Subsidies
  • Won a Presidential Award in the Carbon Neutrality Category at the National Quality Control Circle Competition

2021

  • Orion and Orion Holdings Earn Integrated ESG Rating of 'A'
  • Establishment of a Global Carbon Emission Integration Management System for All Subsidiaries
  • Creation of a Dedicated Organization for Eco-Friendly Management and Partnership with Dealers
  • Prime Minister's Award in the Carbon Neutrality Category at the National Quality Innovation Awards

2022

  • Set up an ESG Steering Committee
  • Obtained certificates (ISO14001) for environmental management systems

2023

  • Enhanced the ESG management System
  • Organized a meeting with our partners and agencies
  • Awarded 'Green Technology Certification' and 'Green Technology Product Verification'
  • A compliance officer has been appointed and a compensation committee has been established
  • Awarded for social contribution

Code of Ethics and Basic Ethics for Employees of the Group

Orion has enacted our Code of Ethics and Basic Ethics for Employees comprised of the purpose of ethical management and the ethical practices of the stakeholder group. All Orion executives and employees follow our ethical management activities when performing their duties based on them.
