Daejeon Sales Office Team Plogging (Chungcheong Sales Division)

Mr. Kim, Chungcheong Sales DivisionOn a sunny morning, we all gathered cheerfully to start our plogging activity. At first glance, the roadside appeared clean. However, as we looked closer at the edges, we were surprised to find a significant amount of litter. Plastic wrappers, cigarette butts, and disposable plastic cups were among the items collected. It made me realize how imperative it is not to litter.

Meaningful Plogging with My SonMr. Han, R&D Team

At first, I was surprised that there wasn't much trash, but seeing cigarette butts piled around the benches made me realize my worries were unnecessary. Initially, I felt a bit self-conscious, as if everyone was watching me, but I soon got absorbed in picking up trash. Seeing my son, quietly squatting down and collecting litter, I was glad we came out. It was rewarding to pay attention to our surroundings and notice things we usually overlook.

Plogging with Cross-Department Collaboration (Management Support & HR Teams)Mr. Park, Management Support Team

Many people from the Management Support and HR teams participated in this event (possibly the largest group for a single activity). With great weather and a large group, the atmosphere was lively and fun. As we walked around the War Memorial, we also reflected on the significance of the war and the sacrifices of fallen soldiers.

AGRO Team Plogging ExperienceMr. Shin, AGRO Team

To ensure the plogging campaign operated smoothly, we checked the hiking route in advance and brought water in personal tumblers to reduce single-use plastic. Just two days before our plogging, a large fire broke out in Gangneung. However, I was shocked to find cigarette butts among the trash we collected during our plogging. Smoking and carrying flammable materials should be banned during hikes.

Plogging on Gyejaksan with My KidsMr. Choi, PR Team

Following last year's event, I took my kids hiking along the Gyejaksan trail to show them the blossoming spring flowers and new shoots. Although the trail was relatively clean, the trash bags my kids carried gradually filled up as time passed on. People encouraged them, saying they were doing a good deed, and though they acted shy, I could tell they felt proud. It made me realize that this was a valuable experience for them as well.

Plogging Along the Seongbokcheon StreamMr. Gong, Production Division

I went plogging on my weekend walk. At first, the trash bag seemed large, but in the end, it felt like there wasn't enough space. Beyond the personal satisfaction, it felt great to contribute positively to the local community through plogging. After returning home and sorting the recyclables, I decided to bring a bag and gloves on future walks to continue plogging voluntarily.
